Q: What is silk momme?

The momme is a unit of measurement that defines the density of silk.
The higher the mommes contained in a silk fabric, the more durable, thick, tight, and suitable for intensive use the fabric is.

From 19 momme, the fabric is thick enough for everyday use.
The highest quality number of mommes on the market is the 30 mommes.

Q: What is Silk Grade?

Mulberry silk is graded on an A, B and C scale.
For each letter, there is also a ranking which goes from 1 to 6.

Each letter and number refers to a different type of quality. A and 6 represent the highest quality silk product. C and 1 on the contrary, refer to the lowest quality.

The quality of silk is defined by the length and thickness of the threads used during weaving. Grade 6A silk refers to silk fabrics made with the longest and thickest threads available.

Q: Why should I use mulberry silk products?

Mulberry silk is taken from the cocoons of caterpillars. These cocoons contain 18 amino acids which help protect and provide optimal conditions for the caterpillar, so that it can transform into a butterfly.
These same benefits brought to the caterpillar can benefit humans, which makes mulberry silk one of the best materials in the world.

International deliveries:
